Take a look around
Bogle Barn is a cosy retreat, full of charm and located in a delightfully peaceful Lakeland village which has plenty of outdoor activities right on the doorstep.
Living room
Large and open plan with widescreen smart TV, comfy seating and space to generally chill out after a day exploring the beautiful Lake District.
Wood burning stove
It wouldn't be a Lake District holiday cottage without a wood burner to cosy up in front of on cold nights! It's why we're so dog-friendly!
Beams, beams, beams
The original beams give a sense of history and drama to the barn. It hasn't always been a holiday cottage, and Bogle Barn was actually part of a local farm when it was built in the 1800s.
Picture windows
Atop its little hill, Bogle Barn looks down towards the village and Grizedale forest beyond. Bogle Barn has some of the best views in the village.
Double bedroom
Cosy and charming with soft white linen and fluffy sheepskin rugs. En-suite shower room.
Twin bedroom
Full of charm and character, including a recently-discovered old fireplace. En-suite shower room.
Shower room
Your own bathroom with solar-powered hot water.
Finishing touches
Handmade lamps and bedside tables - Bogle Barn is truly bespoke!
Dining kitchen
All mod cons: fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, electric oven and gas hob, plus plenty of storage.
Picture windows
Gorgeous Lake District views down the village and across to the hills.
Sociable space
Whoever's doing the cooking can carry on the conversation or watch the telly as the kitchen overlooks the living area.
Oak staircase
The kitchen is up the stairs on a mezzanine floor.
